La estadia estuvo bien, El espacio para tomar el desayuno no es el mejor y la habitacion es muy pequena, seleccione para 2 personas y camas independientes una habitacion de 3 camas, pero no estaba disponible o no la asignaron

I was surprised that not all the staff in the lobby reception speak English in this hotel. Also, there is a long wait for breakfast because the space for the free breakfast was small. Not good if you were in a hurry to have breakfast and get ready for the tour pick-up.

Great location, good stay
Hotel Canada is just off the Zocalo, a great location for sightseeing. The room was comfortable, and it included breakfast (fruit + eggs or other choice from menu). You can hear street noise from the rooms on the outside. It didn't bother me, but if you are noise sensitive you may want to request a room facing inward.

Budget family vacation
The hotel is located in a very good area literally 2 blocks away from the Zocalo, and there are many shops around it. I choose this hotel because of its location, and because I was in a budget with my family of 6 members; we had a great time, staff was very friendly, and for sure I will stay again in here in the future.

Not my best hotel stay
Due to excessive street noise from a local club, my first room facing the street was changed after one night to one inside on the airshaft for the stairs around the single (small) lift/elevator. Two nights later, I had to move myself again up a floor, as the first level was under renovations. Hall and stairwell noise was distracting and unfortunate. Noise from neighboring guest's television permeated. Once moved, the bathrooms were of good size, with the shower curtain barely containing the broad, wide spray from the shower nozzle. On the two days following (minor) earthquakes, there was no hot water. Lighting in the bathroom was barely adequate. The beds were firm, almost hard. The pillows were foam. Flat sheets on the mattress did not stay tucked in. The reading light over the bed was not great. The breakfast room is on the top floor, with a view over the roofs of adjacent buildings, with plenty of sunlight. An English-language menu appeared on my third visit. Plenty of choices, all (to my experience) well prepared. Pleasant and friendly staff. Decent coffee. Fruit plate was excellent. Front desk could use some efficiency training. Waiting to pickup or drop off the room key (with heavy metal fob) could take 2-3 minutes. English-language comprehension by the receptionist staff, particularly daytime, was limited. Communications lacked. Two emails and a phone call to arrange for transportation from the airport were useless.
