Very Good8.0
First time to mex
We booked the suite at a very good rate. Very spacious, on the 9th floor but views were not that great. I had added a request on my booking for an upper floor but forgot to ask again when I checked in. There was 1 person ahead of me and took the longest time for that person to be checked in. Not sure what the problem was. It took about 5 mins for me to get checked in. Had similar problems described by others on missing items...shower cap, face towels, water (you only get 1 free botttle a day, took 3 calls and 2 days to get a replacement for broken water kettle. Bellman was very helpful at check in. Very clean room. Otherwise front desk is not that helpful and speak limited English. People always smoking in front of hotel so not a great way to begin your day. Many Surrounding streets under repair. Pretty noisy at night from nearby bars and early morning with the construction. $2-3 Uber ride to most places. Always felt safe walking in area, but not a lot of places I would eat/shop close by. However there are several excellent dining options on the 60-70 block of Havre Street. The room itself I would rate 4.5 stars, everything else overall 3.5

3500 peso deposit hold for 5 days
The hotel charge my card 3500 pesos for the room and deposit. Then charged it again for the room. My card has had 6000 pesos charged for 5 days. Beware when they take a card for deposit if you need those funds. Other than that the hotel and Jr Suite are beautiful.

extremely bad service and poor execution
good value hotel as far as the roomspace, however we received probably the worst customer service ever experienced, even after complaining to the hotel manager at check out, a few days later, I'm still waiting for an email follow up he was supposed to send. very poor customer service, extremely poor judgment, I strongly suggest not to stay at this property, I was extremely dissapointed with a room service experience and with the tv channel service not working during my stay. the hotel nor the stuff did anything to correct the issue, rather they lack of any judment on problem solving

Good hotel. Good location
Good hotel, good location, nice view of city, had to ask twice for iron board and luggage rack that I think it should be in the room already.

Solid DCMX Stay
This hotel is a great stay. It's location is central with a lot of restaurants and sites nearby, feeling safe to walk around at all times of the day. It also happened to be where Amigo Tours picked up, which made it convenient for some great day tours. The rooms are comfortable, and the service was great. Only issue I found was the poor design of the shower that allows water to get all over the bathroom floor.
