The hotel is clean, uniquely styled, in a safe upscale touristy area, with several nice restaurants nearby. The included simple breakfast was nice. Easy walking to lots of main tourist attractions and transportation options. Staff was friendly and helpful as needed. Would stay there again if in Mexico City.

The hotel itself is pretty good. We liked the location. The only problem we had was the smell in the bathroom due to no windows. The bathroom counter is also very small. Other than those we were happy about it.

Comfortable and convenient for a few nights

Convenient location with some nice eateries. Comfortable bed and quite quiet room. Breakfast starts late (7am during the week, 8am at weekends) so if you’re planning morning tours, don’t choose the breakfast because there is no early takeaway option. Shower head needs to be replaced, and there is very poor water pressure as soon as someone else opens a tap somewhere in the building.

Nice inexpensive stay in Roma Norte

We really enjoyed our stay. Free breakfast was OK and had vegan options with fruit and vegetables daily. It was a great location. The cleaning staff gave us extra towels and trash bags when they realized we had a toddler with us which we really appreciated. The bathrooms don’t have ventilation so it got muggy quickly after showers. I’d go for the suites. They upgraded us when they realized we had a toddler which we really appreciated. Two pairs of family members were in the smaller rooms and it was even muggier after showers. Very friendly staff.

Family vacation

There was nowhere to keep all of our clothes. There was many wood areas that could have been used to place hooks. Lots of hooks to hang a bag a purse a coat jacket a blouse pants etc. !!! There were only 3 hangers??? My husband and I had many linen shirts and pants that had to be thrown in our suitcase. Oddly the ironing board was in a weird place. Put it in the corner and put 6 hooks on that wood wall. Hooks when you walk in to hang things. I don’t want to put my things on the floor. Also when you walk into the room to the left we could have used 3 shelves to organize our things with. It was a bad use of space. We bought lots of crafts that we had to put on the dirty floor. Whomever designed the rooms for function did not know what they were doing. Also the man at the entrance maybe a security guard during our last several days never looked at us never greeted us and seemed angry. We all thought it was strange.

The location of this hotel is perfection! It crosses Calle Colima which is an amazing street that has a number of notable must-go-to restaurants, cafes, and food stalls on your CDMX trip. These include Jenni’s Quesadilla’s (literally on the corner), Blanco Colima, Rosetta, Panaderia Rosetta, Tierra Garat (MX answer to Starbucks). The downside to staying here are the rooms. I stayed in a standard room. There was not enough lighting in the room. Even with all the lights turned on the room was dim. The rooms are not as clean as they could be. There was dust on the shelving above the bed where the service phone was located, and the phone looked a little greasy itself. The bathroom walls could do with a little scrub down or at least a paint job. I was not mad at it. You get what you pay for. Overall I felt safe. I would just suggest you maybe bring some of your own mini travel cleaning products. I always do. The staff was nice. They were kind and helpful. I would stay here again for the location alone.
