Opened the pull out bed abd it looked like the blankets in the bed had not been touched in weeks. Hair and other dirt found on the sheets. Needless to say we folded the bed back up.

The property is under renovation. There is no mention of this on the web site but supposedly only the lobby area= to install an elevator. The rooms are tired looking, old and not well upkept. The washrooms seem to have had some renovation but are cheaply done.( joints on tile work). No hooks for towels.

I was informed that the Inn was a no smoking facility but yet the upon entry that is all you smell. I had to go to Walmart to purchase disinfectant and air fresher to even stay in my room because it had an awful order and the pillows smelled musty. I tried call the front desk to complain but no one answered the phone for 3 hours and the check-in / information line was back to the vending machines. The vending and Ice machines on the 2nd floor were out of order, no one said that upon check-in. There was no room courtesy call to say the breakfast that was ordered the night before was ready to be picked up and where. The remote didn’t work. And to top off my horrible experience, there was a mouse in my room that I was unable to capture a picture of. What I did capture a picture of is the filthy mattress that I paid $526 USD to sleep on. I have never been so disgusted in my life to know that in 2022 the Comfort Inn had such deplorable conditions. There has to be some way that I can be compensated for what was supposed to be my stay at a clean facility but clearly is not.

Worst customer service ever.

First impression isnt good. Huge dumpster outside, windows covered with boards, entrance doesnt look very clean. Hallways not clean. Doors open to "construction sites" in rooms being renovated - definetly a safety hazard. We had a late check in, 11pm. Check in was quick, took our "grab and go" breakfast orders and we went to our room. Room was clean, the only thing was some mould in the bathroom on the caulking (they should really re do that) bed was firm (how i like it) if my review was bases solely off the room, easily 4.5-5/5 no issues there. First morning my husband went down to get "grab and go" breakfast. Definetly not the situation. He was gone for 30 min. They dont have any consistency in what they serve. I told them cereal for a child, they gave rasin bran (yuck). I went back down to get something else, they had fruit loops. The next day, needed cereal for a child they gave special k. My husband asked for fruit loops again and they said they only have rice krispies. They also told us you have to get the same breakfast your entire stay regardless if you liked it or not (no thanks) and when i asked for hot water i was told "YOURE GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT". the girls running the breakfast were sending guests back to their rooms saying "come back later" defeats the whole purpose of "grab n go" also, power went out on Monday morning - not a super issue but wondering If it happens often due to construction

Bad experience whit this location

Very bad experience , when I arrived at place they gauge two keys but they didn’t open the room . I have to go to front desk for replacing the keycard , finally 3rd set work but they didn’t work when I came back to hotel for second night. Toilet didn’t work after first flush after I complain they came and fixed but agin I had the same experience when I return to hotel, I don’t recommend them at all.

Booked for my daughter and friends as it was closest available to Canada’s Wonderland. Room was not clean at all, they found some surprises under the bed when looking for something in the morning before checking out. Mentioned to front desk Staff they said deal with Expedia since that’s who it was booked with.

Less Than Ideal

The lobby and part of the 2nd floor was being renovated so it wasn’t as clean because of it. There was no soap in the room. I was told they were experiencing supply issues and to use the body gel instead. The shampoo and body wash was had a slight unpleasant scent. The hair conditioner was find. Although there was a nice roomy shower, there was no towel rack in the bathroom, just hooks on the back of the door.

Property is undergoing renovations, and they are trying hard to accommodate guests as best they can. The customer service is very pleasant and responsive. I had to change rooms the second night as there was a mouse in my room, as well as lots of fruit flies in the bathroom. So an issue with cleanliness (fruit flies) and renovations often misplace the tiny creatures (mice) we usually never have to see.

Trash all over the place. In halls, in the parking lot. Trash in the parking lot (from parties) remained for the four days I was there, nobody is cleaning up. No lobby, check-in is in a converted guest room, can only fit one customer at a time, so people waiting for check-in must line up in the hallway. They say they serve breakfast but they really don't, you have to tell them the night before that you want a breakfast sandwich, which is just an english muffin and egg. And they never get the order right, I saw many guests complaining about this. Had to beg for housekeeping to come by, and they only change sheets/towels, and did no cleaning at all. Wifi was spotty and not worth the trouble. Will definitely not return.

This hotel is not suitable for stays, it’s dirty and smells really bad. Renovations should be finished before accepting guests. The area around the hotel is horrible . I feel I was scammed by the price I paid. The “ breakfast” was a coffee jar and all dirty . This is unacceptable
