Hótel Varmahlíð
10/10 Excellent
"Good"

Karuna Guesthouse
10/10 Excellent
"I loved this location and the property itself. It had everything I needed to be comfortable. There were no staff present, but the self check in was very easy and they were responsive by message when I had a question. The reviews mentioned it being a good place to see the northern lights (on a clear night, of course) and they were right! The hot tub and sauna are small, but wonderful. During my stay, there were just two other rooms booked and I was able to use both amenities solo. The kitchen was well equipped for me to make dinner and store my food in the fridge. The common space was beautiful with big windows to look out of. I didn't use the tv, but they had a lot of channels accessible. The only thing I would ask for next time is an extra towel or two so you don't have to use your towel for the shower to dry off from the hot tub."

Bakkaflöt Guesthouse
10/10 Excellent
"The place was perfect for us. Staff was incredibly helpful. They opened the restaurant for us to get some breakfast even though it is generally closed in the off-season"

Syðra-Skörðugil Guesthouse
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely place, location is at a beautiful site. Very relaxing and excellent facilities. Thank you so much."

Hestasport Cottages
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful people working for both cottages and stables. Very accommodating, allowed early check in and change in riding time, answered repeated questions over the phone, all with a smile. We stayed one night and loved it. Cottage was comfortable, clean and convenient. Not much to do in the area, otherwise would have stayed longer"

Fjós Guesthouse
10/10 Excellent
"Very spacious room and ensuite. Good beds. Very clean and comfortable. Very good value for money. Would recommend staying here."

Gistihúsið Hofsósi
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean and comfortable. We would stay here again!"

Lónkot
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean and quiet place to stay. The only downside was having shared bathrooms"
