After visiting Blonduos Church, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Blönduós. Stroll along the riverfront or discover the area's northern light views.
"We stayed for one night but enjoyed the views, the animals, and talking to the owner and her daughter. The kitchen space was great. It is shared so made some new friends as well.
Thanks,
Eric & Mary"
"Beautiful hotel. Large rooms and by far the best hotel breakfast on our trip of 6 nights. New, clean, great food, dinner too and staff was friendly.
As we approached, we were reminded what we had read about not judging a book by its cover. Most of the hotels in Iceland (at least where we stayed) were built for Icelandic weather on the outside. The inside was perfect! Lovely and spacious rooms, more so than a few other places we stayed. The room, decor, bath, were exceptional in every way. The hotel was very clean. The shower was amazing. I highly recommend Hótel Laugarbakki."
"Beautiful house with a very friendly cat and great views. Geothermal tub is incredible, facilities are wonderful. Beautiful bathroom and big kitchen! Wish I had time to stay for a ride on the horses"
"I could not actually check in to the hotel as there is no staff there and never received my room number or lockbox code for two rooms. I arrived at 8:15PM and tried calling for 30 minutes with no answer. I had my 3 year old children and had to go find another hotel. I do not reccomend. :("
"The place was beautifully designed and well equipped with everything you need my only complaint was it needed a deep clean I found a toe nail by the coffee table and the walls in kitchen had grease and food and dust"
