The Quail
"The Quail was a beautiful place to stay. The room had excellent views and amenities. Service was very good and use of the on site putting greens were a great relaxation."
Vendange Carmel Inn & Suites
"Cute spacious room with lush landscaped grounds. Would book again."
Carmel Beach Hotel
"Lovely location"
Tradewinds Carmel
"Extremely hospitable and responsive to requests. Unique hotel with distinctive charm."
Hyatt Carmel Highlands
"So this is a beautiful spot BUT!! The hotel is literally on the edge of a steep hill. “A disclaimer should go along with the booking. Must be physically fit to enjoy our property!!” Our room, while not far from the lobby, was probably 75 stair steps below the lobby. I’m sure they have some handicapped rooms available but the area we stayed in (about 24 rooms) is a hike. Don’t know about the restaurant as it was closed the night we stayed. The fitness center is okay but not much equipment other than cardio machines. Our room had a beautiful, unobstructed view of the ocean but the entrance to the property and the Highway 1 were so close that we couldn’t keep our windows open because of the noise. There are plenty of rooms that aren’t as close so be advised. Seemed like they were short of bell staff so we carried our bags ourselves which accentuated the elevation issues."
Hyatt Vacation Club at Highlands Inn
"Beautiful property in the most gorgeous location. The view from the Pacific's Edge lunch can't be beat. Food in both the restaurant and lounge is outstanding. The unit we stayed in was a bit dated but overall very nice. I was excited to have a balcony to relax on with a view of the coast and waves crashing over the rocks. Unfortunately the unit was close to the main building where the huge fan on the roof was very loud and drowned out the sound of the ocean. Inside our unit or on the balcony it was all we could hear the whole time. I can only imagine that from most other units it wouldn't have been a problem and that we just happened to be in a badly affected spot. I would stay here again for the location but would make sure to get a different building."
Pine Inn
"Original hotel was built in 1890’s and was really well maintained as a historic landmark. Room was quite small for larger historic-style furniture. Staff was attentive, helpful and friendly. Italian restaurant in the hotel was very accessible for guests and food and service was very good!"
La Playa Hotel
"Great room and location , lovely breakfast"
Carmel Resort Inn
"Nice place, very comfortable...off the beaten track. Price was reasonable."
