This was very disappointing. In fact, Hotels.com should not be advertising this hotel for the following reasons.
1. The hotel advertised and showed pictures of a resturant and bar that have been closed for many months since the pandemic. It is false advertising.
2. When we arrived we were early and told that we could check in when the room was available. We were told we would be called when it was available. We were never called.
3. We told them we had bicycles we needed to store in the room. When we arrived, the clerk said we would be on the 3rd floor and there was no elevator. She said she would try to book us on the 1st floor. Instead we were booked on the 2nd floor which had already been booked to another person. When we returned to get another room, the clerk booked on the 1st floor.
4. The pool had green algae growing in it. See the photos attached.
5. The carpeting in all the hallway was dirty and stained.
6. We were allowed to store our bicycles in the abandon kitchen of the resturant that had been closed and abandoned. There did not seem to be any security in that area. I was simply told that no one ever goes in that area.
7. The bathroom door in the room (102) was a barn door type that would not close correctly.
8. The tub in the bathroom had rust spot around it.
9. There was no coffee maker in the room. There was only an ice bucket with a couple of plastic cups.
