Carmel by the Sea is a beautiful town and the hotel is very picturesque with lovely plants. The team there were very welcoming providing delicious cookies, wine and a continental breakfast. Unfortunately the walls are very thin and we were put next to a couple with a baby. Listening to the parents sing about sausages and shouting at the poor child was not the relaxing romantic break we hoped for!

My friends and I stayed here for a short girls trip! Highly recommend!! Hotel Carmel is beautifully decorated, all of the staff was very friendly and helpful, and we especially loved the afternoon cheese, cookies and wine! The morning breakfast is light but filling and fresh! We could see the ocean from our hotel door. We would definitely stay there again!
