This charming, older hotel is perfectly situated to all of walkable downtown Carmel by the Sea. We stayed in Room 505 (king corner room with fireplace), which had the most magical view of the mountains and ocean. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a balcony. The staff was courteous, breakfast was plentiful, next door to a full service market, and just far enough away from the crowds on Ocean Avenue. Would definitely stay again!
