I booked an apartment based in what I considered a good price. Sadly, the apartments were very compact and not what I was expecting from the photographs (whilst I that these are designed to show the apartment in the best possible light. We found the apartment almost claustrophobic for two persons. The fire alarm went off in another apartment the first night and the second the contol panel was beeping away merrily downstairs which indicated another problem that night in another party of the building (although we did not here it) and this would have been very annoying if we had an apartment on flloor. There is a £5 cleaning charge per day but the cleaning was not great. There is also an early check in fee, although I could not see any reason for it? The receptionist is present,, check out is at 10 but to check in at 11 there is a £20 charge? Finally, one of the other residents had his WiFi disconnected at 4 am. A problem as he needed to check in for his flight urgently. He asked me to call the manager to report the fault but the telephone number provided would not connect. The mann Overall acceptable but not great.

Poor 2.0
False advertisement
Initially, i was planning to rebook this apartment for my birthday so on arrival, i asked to see the difference between the rooms. I booked the executive apartment but when i arivved at the room it had no windows. Also the ceilings were too low for my partner. It did not feel executive at all. I felt boxed in as though I was in a prison cell. I explained this and I was told that I would have to pay £50 more to stay in the superior family room as they weren't counting the taxes and fees I'd payed to expedia. I was told only one more room was available though expedia was showing that there were four. When i went to view the room, it had windows but was no way superior. It was a smaller room with an extra single bed! On expedia, this was advertised as the family room not the superior. I decided to check out 45 minutes after arrival as the attitude of the receptionist was poor. I had to speak to her through thr front door intercom as she couldn't be bothered to meet at the front door. She told me to slip the door key under the reception door and asked me why I wanted to checkout. When I explained that the rooms were not as advertised she told me they were and started to argue with me even though I had evidence which she refused to see. In the end she cut off the intercom before I had even finished. Very poor experience in 45 minutes. I would never recommend.

Huge disappointment over all considering how many good reviews this place got. All the floors unsealed tile. Silverfish came out of the cracks, dirt and crap went in. It is supposed to be a fully furnished Suite, but no broom and dustpan and when we asked to borrow one we were told we could use it for a few minutes but had to give it right back. Once we checked in there was an extra 8£ a day service charge for housekeeping: the floor was not swept and mopped one time in the 3 weeks we were there. The only thing done was new towels brought in once a week and garbage emptied, sheets changed once. Otherwise nothing. Zero.We booked a room that was supposed to sleep 4 but there were three of us. The beds are right in the middle of the only common room. Even though we were 3 people ,supplied with only 2 forks and 2 bowls no cutting boards no sharp knives was ridiculous to try and cook meals. We asked daily for 5 days straight for another fork and bowl and on the sixth day finally flag down housekeeper who immediately got one for us. The other major issue was from day one the shower head was broken and would only drizzle out water. I asked every day for 5 days with no result to have this fixed. Imagine being on holidays in August 30 degrees, no shower, days on end. On day 6 the shower head was replaced. Considering the price, I requested apartial refund for the first 5 days. After having no shower and eating meals with a spoon, it seems fair. I was offered £25. What a joke.

I booked the ‘Grand Apartment’ as my visit to London was for a special occasion. When we arrived the receptionist didn’t seem to have a clue we were coming and kept us waiting for a while. Turns out this is because they messaged me asking when I’m turning up which I missed during my travels there. The check in is from 2pm and we turned up at 3pm.....just get the room ready for 2pm as stated, surely? I should have just booked the cheapest room as the one we were given really was nothing special. There was a lack of sanitary products in the bathroom and OVER HALF of the lights were blown. The worst part of it was the 7am wake up call I had from construction works RIGHT OUTSIDE MY TINY WINDOW. If there are construction works either in the property or right next to it you would have thought that you would be placed some sort of distance away from the works or at least be made aware that they are going on. I felt ripped off so went to give my keycard back at checkout (10am) and was going to complain. Guess what, no one there. Thanks but will be staying elsewhere next time. Learn how to run a hotel. The cat at the reception desk was lovely though.

Nice setting out but...
The receptionist was kind and arranged two rooms at Ground level for 4 of us with bulky bags, and the rooms were seemed well equipped with a little kitchen and a washing machine. The rooms are as good-looking as the model flats for sale - not really for functioning. We tried to make the simple breakfast (of some fried eggs and sausages and beans) one morning in our room, getting yourself familiar with the operation of the stoves was definitely a disaster, while we finally realized the exhausting fan was not functioning at all. We were saving ourselves from suffocating and found that there were only one operable small clerestory window by the washing basin and no fresh air was passing by and the odor was trapped within the rooms for the rest of the days we were staying. The wifi sucks - probably we were located at the end of the corridor. The apartment charged us 5 pounds per day for the housekeeping charge, but it was quite disappointed to see our dirty pillow covers were in no replacement - for easy configuration we've taken off the dirty covers from the pillow and placed them on a chair, the housekeeper took them, and leaving our pillow blanked till the day we left. People in the apartment are nice. The geographical location is excellent though - near to the Finsbury Park station where the Victoria and Piccadilly Line adjoin.
