We went in late Sept and it was quite busy. I can't begin to imagine to torture that it is in the stifling heat and crowds in July and August. Don't walk down the roads. Get buses. Their driving is amazing as the roads are super narrow and twisty

Very walkable and safe town. Great sense of community. You see families in streets and piazzas. More street lightings in narrow alleyways would have made walking more enjoyable at night.

Love Anacapri it is much smaller than Capri but the town is more suited for me. Capri is all high end stores and such.

We took the bus to Capri and walked trails to the ruins of Jovis and the Villa Lysis. Quite a nice walk.

"Our stay was wonderful from start to finish! The rooms, staff, drinks and food were excellent but what took our breath away was the views! To wake up and see that view every morning as we walked down to breakfast was amazing! Desk staff are very helpful with suggestions and the free breakfast has a great variety. Pool was refreshing and getting a lounger was not difficult. Rooms and common areas all clean and well taken care of. Really a fantastic place to stay, we would gladly stay there again!"
