Superb choice for a London visit
This was a superb hotel. The supermarket next door was handy, and there were a bunch of tasty places to eat nearby including the pub. It enjoys very easy to access busses, and only a short walk to the Underground. The washroom, and the heat of the water, was something to look forward to for soothing muscles after a day of walking around. The Kings Head was also a great choice for coming in via Heathrow as there wasn’t far to go on getting in to catch a nap. Then, when leaving there wasn’t all that far to go back to the airport. From end to end of a visit, it would be tough to beat this hotel.

Nice people. Not such a great location. Worst part was climbing three flights of stairs every day because the elevator was out of order.

Lovely hotel hit & miss service. Heathrow 25 min
The hotel rooms were very nice but I recommend with caution: I booked a Junior Suite w/ 2 beds for 2 adults + a teen booked as a child with age noted on the hotels.com website. I was given a room without only 1 bed. When I asked to change rooms, the clerk said I had only booked for 2 people and the hotel was full. I could change the next night but for that night I could take it or leave. I asked for a roll-away or cot, and was told they had none. I had to ask twice for bedding so that my son could sleep on the floor. The night clerk offered no apology and accused me of trying to add a person. The next morning a different clerk confirmed I had booked correctly but the hotel made the mistake. He ensured our luggage was transferred during the day. The 2nd bed in the new room? A roll-away. The included breakfast was just ok - the menu looked nice but the food all tasted off (my salad was decomposing lettuce) and the pub employee was surly. The rooms were very modern and lovely. USB jacks & dimable lighting were refreshing. TV in the bath/shower was a luxury. Fixtures all very nice but sheets poor quality. Note that this is located in near-in suburb of Acton and is an almost 10-minute walk to Acton Common tube station. Easy to get to London proper from there, but no "sights" near (good neighborhood pubs though). It's a relatively easy 25 minute drive to car hires near Heathrow - but note that the nearest parking is 8 blocks and has a meter that must be fed during the day.

Excellent place to stay. I enjoyed getting to know the area, as complex and growing as anywhere in London. Try Woody's Grill for Halal food, and the Acton Center for an excellent swimming pool. If you're considering this hotel, you already have other places in London to go, so I won't mention those. The hotel is a fine one, though the price is not low. But it was worth it to me.
