firstly, the staff at this hotel were extraordinary. It wasn't just one person or one instance, but each interaction felt like they were going out of their way to be kind and helpful. the hotel is full of snacks! be warned! iced cream machine, fresh cookies, delicate pastries delivered to your room... candy, coffee. everything! the spa is a treat- I wish I'd made more time for the steam room and the sauna. finally, the rooms themselves were comfortable- I usually complain about pillows at hotels but they even let you choose what type of pillow you wanted this place is a gem!
