We hit the jackpot with Hotel da Baixa!
We had a fantastic time in Lisbon and having the perfect hotel was a big part of it. The location is great, a block or two from shops, restaurants, bus stops and more. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast each morning got each day off to a great start. The bed was comfortable and the shower had 3 different modes (spray, rain, and waterfall) which was great after a long day. The folks in the restaurant gave us a bucket of ice each evening without any of the "looks" we had been getting elsewhere when asking for ice (we're American and love our drinks COLD!). I can't think of a negative thing to say...which is quite something for me.
