Leeds is well known for its university life and theatres, featuring attractions such as Leeds Town Hall and O2 Academy Leeds. This welcoming city has something for everyone including its gardens, bars and sights like Millennium Square and Leeds City Square.
Much nicer proposition since they council uplifted city centre through better pedestrianised areas. Top, easy to navigate, shopping is particularly good retail options in city. Bright on a night and feel safe walking round alone.

We come to Leeds several times a year to visit our daughter. We find the city centre to be superb with lots of shops, cafés & restaurants as well as museums & galleries. The people of Leeds are also really friendly too!

We loved the shopping, the corn exchange and the market. The food and drink options were great.
"This was a great property to stay at. Near the train station, close to all amenities. The only thing I would flag is that the AC wouldn't work in our room and was only blowing out hot air, and we couldn't open the windows in our room as they were properly locked. It made for a very hot evening."
"Perfect location in the central of Leeds. Very warm welcome upon check in and the reception staff were very helpful and friendly.
Room was modern, clean and all the amenities you’d expect, with great air con!
Breakfast was lovely and tasty in a relaxed setting."
"From the moment we stepped in and were greeted by the doorman it was the best stay. We left our bag as we arrived early. On returning to the hotel we were checked in and given our key and we enjoyed a drink in the bar first. The room was upgraded for my husband's birthday and it was beautifully adorned with lots of balloons and a lovely message with chocolates from the manager. Such a lovely gesture to be so spoilt. The bed was huge and so comfortable. The sofa was really comfy to watch TV. The complimentary mini bar was a lovely touch. My husband loves a bath and it was huge even for him at 6 foot tall. Had the best night's sleep with no noise and total darkness with blackout curtains. In the morning we managed to enjoy sitting out on the balcony in the sunshine before sadly having to leave. David on reception went above and beyond to help me out also which was so generous. It isn't our first stay at Dakota and won't be our last. "
