I thought the photos of the place showed that we would have our own bathroom. And that there would be fitness equipment on premises. It was also not too easy to get to this hotel. One of the staff was a bit rude and they even charged for printing out boarding passes. Rather big spiders in our room as well.

Great budget friendly stay
It was our first stay in a hostel and we were very happy. Will definitely do it again, especially with Danhostel! The location was a little bit out of the city, but the public transportation nearby made it relatively easy to get around. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and we had everything we needed.

As expected
Hard to find. Service was very friendly.

Clean, affordable "home" in Copenhagen.
We happened to visit on a special night when the kitchen was serving supper, and despite being a huge hostel, it really felt like family! A great experience all around. Very clean and orderly.

Prepare to get out early...
Just needed an inexpensive place near the airport to spend one night before a flight home. We knew the accommodation would be somewhat spartan but the 10:00 checkout time was unprecedented and unwelcome. We could have used another hour or two (read normal checkout time) to relax and get ready for a very long flight but felt rushed out and spent the extra hours at the airport instead.

Would come again
Stayed 3 nights in 2-person room. Room was small and there was only two beds and one table, but we didn't expect more. There were no air condition in the room, but even if were in the middle of hot wave, the room wasn't too hot, as we were able to open the window and the door and get some air moving. Common areas were clean, kitchen was spacious and good. There were also several fridges. Kitchen was closed at midnight though, which I didn't understand. In order to borrow some plates or cups we had to give our room key as a deposit, and we got it back when we returned them. This system was sometimes a bit frustrating. We didn't have to queue for the showers either. We rented also bicycles for one day, it worked out well. The staff was friendly and always trying to help. I would come again, as the price level compared to the satisfaction level of this hostel was good in my opinion. Also location was quite good, quiet area close to nature. With bicycles the city center was easily reachable, we even walked there once (~4km). Closest metro station is ~1km away. So if you don't like to walk, don't choose this one.

Shoe small
There was shoe smell all over the hostel. Staff was nice and the place is close the the airport.

I got stolen
They stole 400 euros from my suitcase while I was outside the hostel and it was a private room. I do not recommend it, what you save is stolen. We thought it was one of the safest cities but apparently it is not at all safe.
