We stayed at the hotel as we were going to see a local show The hotel is quite modern and doesnt have the quaint feel of an old thatched residence . It is in a noisy road but the double glazing was good. We had room 4 and it was very nicely decorated . The pub food was great and the breakfast was very good We wouldn't stay here as a holiday break but it suited our purpose

What a lovely hotel. I had my dog with me and they catered for everything. There was a water bowl in the room and a bag with some essentials. The room was large and clean with coffee and tea facilities ands some lovely shortbread biscuits. It was made to feel more home from home rather than a stark hotel room.

Spacious and clean room. Large shower cubicle. Good facilities. Furniture a bit dated. Lighting a bit too dark to do your makeup. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very good English breakfast plus lighter options. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking spaces. Very quaint hotel with a restaurant and bar which we did not have time to use apart from for breakfast. Next time. Enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful room, more than large enough for our family of 3. Extremely clean and well presented. The only thing I can suggest is to add a small fridge and nappy bin, given the room is marketed for families it would be handy. Otherwise, staff were extremely friendly, room was very comfortable, we particularly enjoyed the towel robes they provided! Would absolutely come and stay again at this gorgeous hotel.

The room was lovely, large, clean and all facilities were as expected apart from the TV did not work. The engineer was supposed to be out to fix it but hadn't been by the morning. I took th Ariel out and tightened it then put it back in then it worked. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good selection of drinks at the bar and high standard of food. Breakfast was perfect.
