Will not return, once was bad enough
Where do I start? First the place is really difficult to find, it’s shown on google maps as being on the main road, however to get to it, you must walk down a side street towards the supermarket and then down an alleyway to the hostel and it’s not that easy in the dark. When checking in and paying, I payed by card but the machine gave no option to chose currency and although I had plenty of polish zloty, it charged me in GBP and EURO and that came to a greater amount. So I spoke to the staff about it and asked for the transaction to be reversed and I be charged the correct amount and in the correct currency. Reluctantly they called the manager who told me basically “no refunds” and there was nothing that could be done, so we were obviously not happy. Then when we got to the room, there was a really bad smell as soon as we entered and even though we eventually got used to it, the smell was there for the entire stay, each time we entered the room. Then sitting on the bed with their super thin “mattresses” I immediately hit the metal crossbar on my tailbone and was in a bit of pain. But, we tried to make the most of it and since we were traveling as a couple, we put both mattresses together and one of the blankets and we could still feel the metal frame. But we had tours to do and a limited time or we would have just booked elsewhere. they look like they try and keep the place clean, although it’s in desperate need of a revamp

Very Good 8.0
Was good for what I paid in a good location. Some reviews say it was dirty but I think it's just that it's not in great condition and needs refurbishment. Good welcome from the reception. Booked a private double which was fine but no curtains to keep light out, room was cold too and seemed like they hadn't turned heating on yet. One toilet/shower had a lock that didn't work. Breakfast was only ok. I think if there was a noisy group in the hostel it would be hard to sleep but as I said, perfectly fine for the price
