Our stay at ANDAZ AMSTERDAM PRINSENGRACHT was incredible. The hotel is located in a truly privileged area, right in front of one of Amsterdam’s most beautiful and important canals, which makes the atmosphere feel very special from the moment you arrive. It is not exactly next to the museums, the main shopping streets, or the busiest tourist areas, but that is actually part of its charm — the surroundings are beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for experiencing the city in a more authentic way. The hotel offers bicycles for rent, which was one of the best parts of the experience, because you get to explore Amsterdam the way locals do. I would definitely recommend renting a bike from the very first day. The breakfast was excellent, the service was great, and the hotel’s design is absolutely stunning. The interiors were created by the famous Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, and every space inside the hotel feels artistic, sophisticated, and full of personality. As someone who truly loves architecture and design, I was fascinated by the incredible details, the bold compositions, the lighting, the textures, and the unique atmosphere created throughout the entire hotel. Another special detail was the Brazilian chef, who was extremely kind and attentive and gave us many great recommendations and tips about the city, which made the experience even more welcoming and memorable. It is much more than a place to stay — it feels like a complete design experience.
