Very serviceable accommodations for the 48-ish hours I was in London.

Solid budget hotel

A solid budget hotel. I was in Room 18 - it's at the front of the building and very noisy from the main road. It was very hot weather and the room was extremely hot too with no way to cool it other than with a fan. The window opened a little bit but it made the road noise much worse. But otherwise it was fine. Breakfast was decent given the low cost of the room and the desk is manned 24 hrs a day which is good.

Nice and cosy

One of the best london hotels we have stayed in so far. Clean. Nice staff and free breakfast.

Great for the price and staff friendliness

It's dated but location is 5 minutes from the train station, the staff is very friendly, felt safe to walk in the late evening, great shower water pressure, price :)

Good stay - triple room

Overall really good stay, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. Room was fine, shower base filled up with water a bit during the shower but other than that really clean and comfortable.

Cheap and cheerful

Great location for Finsbury Park, hotel in need of some tlc but for the price nice friendly staff and early check in is a massive plus
Debbie, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Arriving at the hotel I was stuck outside for a short while as I had to wait for the receptionist to answer the buzzer. The receptionist was lovely however when I went up to my room I found it had not been cleaned at all, bedding and towels were left all over the place and rubbish left lying about. The bathroom door also had a small chunk of it missing. When leaving the hotel you have to hand your key back in to the reception and then get it again on your return.

A Great of Choice For Breakfast as Well as Need Rooms even with the small size of the bathroom. Where The Water pressure left Something to be decierd the staff was great and I would recommend it to anybody that would like to visit London. It is was also very Close To Both The Tube and the Bus station from where You Could Reach The entire city with eas.

Good value for money

The hotel staff were friendly, the room was clean and functional, and the bed was reasonably comfy, which for the price point I think represents good value for money. The location is also very good - a couple of minutes from Finsbury Park. The road is very loud and the windows are not very sound proof, so if you’re a light sleeper you may struggle with that.

More than happy.

Really happy with this little find of a hotel, welcoming entrance off the main road, staff friendly and informative. Comunal areas of property smelled really fresh and clean, there wasn't that 'hotel smell' room likewise very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, continental and full English, breakfast staff equally as helpful. 3 min walk from Finsbury Park tube and loads of shops and facilities nearby, supermarket and eateries. So much so ive booked again for May 25 for another visit to London for a similar music event I'm attending. Thank you.

Good for a short stay

Had a single room for a one night stop in London. The hotel is close to the tube stop, which is always a plus. The room was clean and service was good. The single room is a bit cramped but it was a single room. WiFi appeared to not work when I got back at night, but that aside, no complaints

6/10 Good

Staff were great, very convenient location. Room a little on the small side but was ok. Unfortunately the bed was super uncomfortable and the remote for the TV was very very dirty. Would’ve been very disappointed if I’d paid full price (£96) with out club card points.

6/10 Good

Value for money, but the rooms have no sound proofing. Breakfast continental table also had stale croissants.

Overnight for Pulp over the street

Room 22, two double beds. Comfy enough. Shower w/ shower gel on the wall. TV in a strange place, couldn’t see it from either bed. Didn’t sample breakfast. Great if you’re off to a gig in Finsbury Park opposite. But don’t. Finsbury for a gig is a truly horrible experience! Go to football close by instead maybe?
Helen, 1-night trip

Nice staff, but not safe for lone women

Nice staff at all times, however the rooms aren't great - poor ventilation, walls as thin as paper, light broken in bathroom. But biggest issue is safety here. Can't suggest any lone woman stays here - you have to hand your key to reception each time you leave, and the method to get it back is to buzz the front door (in an area where I was twice followed down the street to the hotel by sketchy men in one night) and wait to get let in then give your name to get the key. Also their doors are not a standard size so those nice portable hotel locks you use for safety won't work here which was very concerning as when I came back at one point a guy was watching on my floor to see what room I went into so I had to pretend to mess about with stuff in my bag and wait for him to go before going near my room door. Ladies, don't stay here alone it simply isn't safe.

10/10 Exceptional

I booked this for a three night stay in London. I've read mixed reviews about the property for me I had fantastic experiance and stay. I had a small basic single room and ensuite, but sufficent space for myself. The room were cleaned daily, to a high standard and linens replaced daily. I There is areas of ware and tear but for me its only asethics. I will issues with sounds, I live i. Old house myself and sometimes I can hear my neigbours, possibly not best place for light sleepers. I sleep like alog. They even include a freshly cooked English breakfast woth great coffee. A Great selctions of continental breakfast options . The lasses are very friendly and helpful. The 24 hour recpetion and you can required to leave your keys at the property for me, I prefered this again staff very helpful and friendly . Location is amazing you opposite Finsbury park and about few mins walk from the tube. There plenty of local shops and cafes, including a Lidls. for me always amazing. I paid about £60/£70 pernight. You can't even get this price in alot of cheaper cites this for me is gem. I'll be staying again I would highly recommend.

Cramped and tired

Room appeared clean at first glance, but staining around the room, and showerhead clogged with limescale suggesting they're never cleaned or subject to legionella inspection. Staff were friendly and pleasant, some fixtures/fittings damaged in the room, which was cramped. Lots of light from the communal corridor flooded under the door at night (perhaps consider motion sensors, with lights turning off after a few minutes of inactivity?). I didn't stay for breakfast as the rest of the experience put me off. The width of the bathroom was slightly more than my shoulders, making using the room difficult, especially showering and using the loo.
