Great place!
Great hotel. Really happy with everything about it. Check-in experience was a bit confusing at first, but the staff is helpful. Room was pretty clean, and had an interesting design and layout. The view and the area could have been better, but overall it was a very positive experience. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Loved my Zoku stay!
Zoku is the place for me! Everything is thoughtfully and elegantly designed for the independent modern traveler - especially one who likes a rooftop space with access to amazing food, myriad comfortable spaces where you can eat, socialize, or dig in and work, and open views of the city. I really loved the layout of my room -- as they point out, in most hotel rooms, the bed is usually the focal point, but here it is tucked away in the loft, ready to offer a restful night's sleep, but giving way for space for a four-person table, couch, and other touches. All very clean and contemporary. I only stayed for two nights, so didn't use the kitchen, but it's outfitted to cook meals and such... there is a fantastic yoga studio (Delight Yoga) 3 minutes away -- "within crawling distance" - a description which made me laugh, and go! Zoku doesn't have the traditional check-in / concierge, rather "helpmates" on the 6th floor who can assist on a variety of fronts -- ideal and even fun for someone like me, but perhaps not the best fit for people like my folks who like the old-fashioned way of travel and service. And I will be forever grateful that, after landing on an overnight flight and asking on the app for an early check-in, I received an email that my room was awaiting me! A short walk away from the Dutch National Opera and Ballet, and wonderful restaurants and cafes. Check out what's on at Stadsschouwburg; I was lucky to catch Nederlands Dance Theater. I look forward to my return!!!

Clean, friendly, modern concept hotel
Super nice friendly staff. Definitely a very new and unusual hotel concept but it works quite well. You do self check in on the 6th floor and there is no concierge or front desk. However, there is a staff of “sidekicks” who are able to help with everything you can think of, from getting you drinks to booking a meeting room. The cleanliness was exceptional, and everything is new and modern design. They have thought of everything you can imagine, from adapters for plugs to conference rooms to lounge and living room social hangout areas. It’s really a very friendly and inviting place to hang out and chat with new friends. Or you can be totally anonymous and keep to yourself as well. Great kitchen with fresh healthy food, and good wine and beer selections. The area is perfect: just close enough that you can walk to anywhere in the central city in 30 min or less, but not in a rowdy noisy party area. Very convenient to central train station, metro tram line, and nice parks nearby.

Very Good8.0
Zoku is a great hotel that’s clean, quiet and centrally located near many touristy sites. Our room had a small, well equipped kitchen, microwave, refrigerator and ever a small dishwasher. A grocery store was right across the street. Compared to many local hotels, Zoku is very well priced. They send you an email ahead of time asking for your time of arrival, and our room was available at 11a...nice after a long flight. Internet check out made things simple. I’d definitely come back and recommend this hotel
