No air conditioning

The hotel was nice enough and conveniently located. People were nice. The only problem was there is no air conditioning. I was told that they didn't need air up there as the weather is mild, and you can just open a window, which is true enough. The weather was perfect. Unfortunately, the only window is right along the front walkway, which is now wide open to everybody walking by. So much for privacy. Also, if smoke is a problem for you, it comes billowing in from the people smoking out front. So, leaving the window open wasn't an option for my daughter-in-law with asthma who also hates the smell of cigarettes. Other than that, it was lovely.

I stay here 5-10 nights per year to go fishing in the area. It is always clean, quiet, and staff if friendly and helpful. Convenient location. No amenities but for the price I don’t care. I always get a good nights sleep.
