The room we booked was oversold. Not sure how this happens or if anyone planned to advise before arrival, had I not called to adjust a day. Was charged the same for a room with less than what we booked. It was fine, just no fireplace, not much on the walls, no kitchenette. We had a mountain view and pool view. Staff were amazing and helpful. Bathroom a little ‘vintage’ but everything worked. I’d go back. We had a great time. The cabriolet is a nice feature.

Part of the Powder Plan
Stay at the Vintage often, the mini kitchen in room and the spa make this a great place to hunker down and wait for first chairs on powder days. One of my favorite places to stay!

It’s just ok
The hotel was convenient and nice enough but this is definitely a no frills hotel. There is no where to eat at the hotel and there is no service provided by the staff. We found the staff unfriendly and disengaged. While it is close to the mountain, if we come back, we will likely not come back here and will stay elsewhere.

Missing the Charm
We have stayed at the Vintage many many times over the years. The latest iteration has the same great rooms, the bathrooms/tub area has been renovated and there are newer better beds. There is no restaurant any more, but rather a lounge area where the restaurant used to be. There is no room upkeep during the stay either. Some of the sweet customer service and charm of the staff is missing. With all of this said, we stay at the Vintage because the price point is not outrageous as many places this close to lifts tend to be. It is a short ride and walk to the great skiing Winter Park has to offer. It is a comfortable hotel with very few amenities. We will be back.
