Just "ok" Hot Springs Experience
The resort was just "ok". All hot spring pools were filled with student groups, high school groups in one, college group in another, so we had a difficult time even accessing the hot springs. Also, as a family with teenagers, we were never told that roughly half the resort is reserved for patrons over the age of 16. So we weren't even able to access those pools with our children. We did not have hot water in our shower, which is strange for a hot springs resort, but the front desk did give us 10% off our stay because of that. VERY weak wifi signal throughout the resort except in the lobby, and no cell service in most areas. The dining experience on-site was ok, the restaurant in the main lobby building was sufficient. It would be nice to have other options nearby for coffee/breakfast. Overall, it was nothing to write home about, and it was not our favorite hot springs resort experience. I would suggest Pagosa Springs instead. We will not be returning.

Go somewhere else
We recently stayed in their Hillside rooms and were so disappointed in our stay. Our toilet had to be fixed twice, the lobby bathrooms didn't flush and our lock on our door broke and actually locked us out at one point. We ate at the restaurant on site and that was a disaster as well. The food is terrible and expensive. We let the people know what was happening through every step of the way to remedy the situation, but we were constantly met with apathy. When we asked the cleaning person for hand soap because there was none in our room, she just told us that they don't have any and it's a big problem. Then when she asked us what we needed in our room we simply said she could empty the trash and that would help. She took the trash I handed her, then gave me a couple trash bags to put on myself. On top of everything, they sent me an email after our stay to ask for feedback and when I sent them the details of my experience, I have received no response in return. Overall, there are much better hot springs to visit and I will not be traveling back to Mt. Princeton.

Charming Mountain Resort
We stayed in the Cliffside rooms, and while they look rather plain from the outside, inside they are very comfortable and well equipped, with a certain mountain charm. The view from the balcony is amazing, and the hot springs themselves are very relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that the resort restaurant is ridiculously expensive ($30 a plate) and while the food was good, the portions were small for such a high price, and given the remote location there are few other cheaper options.
