Convenient and clean motel near Waterfront

I stay at the Surf motel many a visit to SF. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean with some updates like laminate floors. It is well situated near the Embarcadero waterfront in SF. Great location and some good food nearby. It is helpful to be able to park in their parking lot with a parking tag as a guest.

The noise of cars is very loud. The equipment is very poor, and there is no hot water in the morning. It's convenient to eat, and there are many restaurants to choose from around.

You get what you paid for. Location wise is amazing. Short drive to almost all of the tourist spots. Clean but outdated, and a lot of minor fixes needed, at least in the room that we got. Lots for restaurants in the area that are walking distance from the motel.

The location is great, close to every must see places in San Francisco for the 1st time travel guests. The property is too old, every thing need to renovate or remodel. My room even no hair dryer and the bath tub cannot use as a tub or shower
