Nice ambiance and nice hotel to stay.

Great hotel at a good price at Embarcadero
The hotel is very well kept. The staff was professional and helpful. The wifi is free. The other hotels near this location cost more and offered less.

Quiet, cozy, with a great view.
It was amazing, and I wish I could have stayed longer. I had a couple reasons for choosing this hotel, one being the view. I booked a club room type, but sadly didn't stay long enough to enjoy the view from up there more, but I would love to come back for that. Even from the room, our view of the Bay Bridge was romantic. Also, I know they use a machine for this, but the breakfast sandwiches from the little market next to the bar were so good! Perfectly toasted, and the bread was delicious. I know part of my experience was shaped by the type of room I chose, and the day I booked, but of course these wouldn't be available were it not for the hotel itself and, so thank you for facilitating these experiences.

Okay for one night for business, but not longer.
Definitely needs updating. Entire feel is dark and tired. Rooms are basic, no amenities. Smelled like someone had smoked in my non-smoking room.

Not worth it
Not enough service in front desk or room service - never did get anyone to answer the phone or come back after waiting 15 minutes 3 times. Very expensive, small drinks at bar - and $73 a night for parked car! Massive Hotel Alarm went off at 3:30am and no one was around to guide us or answer questions - 4 small pillows on King bed, all flat feather pillows, no other options. Rooms were nice and clean otherwise. Coffee service lacking on departure -
