We live in Napa but love to stay in SF now again
We had such a nice quick stay overnight in the city - wonderful hotel, loved the upgrade to the concierge level. Convenient to walk to restaurants, stroll on the bay walk, and get to BART. Our go-to for our visits to SF!

$59 in additional fees (not taxes, additional fees) and you still have to pay for the premium wifi. These extra taxes/fees for the services you used to get for free are getting a little absurd. Hyatt you're winning the award for pushing the needle the farthest on them. The view was nice though.

Comfortable, well-sited hotel, if lower on charm
The architecture of this hotel may lack charm, but our room as expansive and very well appointed with outlets and well-functioning free wifi. The location very close to Ferry Terminal Market, BART station, Chinatown/North Beach and downtown business appointments was superb and the staff very upbeat, though we didn't linger much at the hotel.

an Francisco is always a good idea!
Last minute stay in SF. The Hyatt Regency has been recently remodeled. It was a nice stay. Spacious, clean rooms and the concierge was helpful when needed. Very chaotic trying to park as it was a busy day in SF. We had hoped to self-park which is half the cost of valet, but the hotel did not provide info on self-parking location on the web site prior to check in. Self-parking is across the street and because traffic on Drumm was at a complete standstill on Saturday, we kind of threw in the towel and succumbed to the $76 a day for valet. I do appreciate that a cheaper option is available and now that I know, will consider a second stay in the future.Location is nice as it is walk-able distance to Union Square, the Embarcadero, North Beach and about 30 minutes to the ball park.
