A gem of a small hotel, clean and with friendly service. Keeping in mind that Venice is an ancient town with old infrastructure, we expected to carry luggage upstairs and traveled with backpacks instead. We arrived after hours and received door instructions plenty ahead of arrival time. No issues with locks, let in was a breeze. The room was basic vintage, with old fashioned window shutters, and overall very clean. A/C is central and was turned on during our second day. We used the sheer curtains as improvised mosquito screens and besides the bidet, we appreciated having breakfast (bought fruit and pastries nearby) in the lovely back garden. Staff is very welcoming, Nikola is a gem of a soul!

Such a lovely property with a small canal view for some rooms, and the pretty garden for others. Walkable to most everything including the train station. Very reasonably priced and excellent quality. We were apprehensive that the hotel may not be the best given the price, however, it exceeded our expectations. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet area. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the staff were extremely friendly. The hotel had a great outdoor space to relax and the breakfast was good too. Would definitely recommend visiting here.

Casa Melograno was great value. Simple but spacious room & bathroom. Great location. I preferred walking but was able to see all quarters (sestiere) of Venice on foot: 10K to 20K steps daily. Breakfast was different each morning but great start to the day. I would stay there again

Casa del Melograno was a great little stay for my son and I. Simone was very kind and helpful with our questions. The breakfast outside in the courtyard was splendid, we felt ready for our day after all the variety of treats: cappuccino, orange juice, croissant, eggs, and fruit.
