About Hotel Rialto, Venice

Hotel overlooking the Grand Canal at the Rialto Bridge

7 minutes to San Marco

Hotel Rialto overlooks the Grand Canal at the Rialto Bridge, steps away from the market, and a 20-minute walk from Santa Lucia Station. Piazza San Marco and the Basilica are 7 minutes' walk, and the vaporettos, which stop meters from the hotel, are a great way to see the canals.

Bell tower, boat trip

Venice is best explored on foot - the views from the St. Mark's Campanile are a great way to get your bearings. Modern art at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection is a 20-minute walk, and a boat trip to the Basilica on tranquil Torcello Island is a lovely way to experience the lagoon.

Free breakfast buffet

A delicious breakfast will get you ready for a day's exploration, and in the warm months it's served on the terrace overlooking the Grand Canal. The terrace is also a great spot for evening drinks and dinner, and the friendly reception staff are there for you 24 hours a day.

Venetian style, free WiFi

The 79 air-conditioned rooms are decorated in a combination of contemporary and traditional Venetian style, with ornate furnishings and lavish wallpaper. There's free WiFi to keep you connected, satellite TV, and a minibar, and 28 of the rooms overlook the Grand Canal.

Get a room off of the canal for a quiet night!
Great hotel, and convenient location. Just don't get a room with a view of the canal. It was the off season but people were yelling, laughing, etc.. all night long. The Rialto Bridge attracts the party crowd, no doubt. Police boats, ambulance boats, all with sirens blaring went by every hour or two. At dawn, the delivery boats start unloading. I can't say that I've ever been anywhere where it was that loud - every night, all night long. I am not a light sleeper but I really had issues with this. The Vegas Strip isn't that loud. NYC isn't that loud. I seriously could not believe the noise. The hotel can't do anything about it, it's not their fault, it's simply too close to everything. But, really, don't upgrade to a room with a view. If, however you saved the money and got a room on the back side of the hotel, I expect you'll feel like royalty. It's old fashioned decor, with a bell hop that has to help you find your room. (get off elevator on 2nd floor for some 3rd floor rooms via a few steps or the 2nd floor for access to some 4th floor rooms, people kept saying they were lost) You leave your key at the front desk. They had decent currency exchange, good breakfast spread. But NO COFFEE IN THE ROOM They also have a free boat ride to Murano with a free glass blowing factory tour. We had a private trip since no one else went which was very nice! Avoid the tacky shops around the bridge. Cross the bridge away from the tourist area and yo
