The staff was so friendly and helpful. I liked that the property was a quick walk from Gare du Nord. The breakfast was well laid out and delicious. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern and clean. I really enjoyed my 2 night escape to Paris. It is such a beautiful city!

Great location next to Metro station and close to République, which is a major hub to go anywhere in Paris. Close to bakeries, cafes, restaurants, stores, shopping. Hotel was renovated, friendly staff. Rooms are clean. My room had a bathroom issue so I asked to change. Manager was very accommodating. Free Wifi, cable TV. Breakfast was included. Nothing bad to say about this hotel. A little gem for a reasonable price.

This is the hotel that we spent our honeymoon at in 1972. It is basic. The place has in the meantime been redone and the en suite shower rooms are very modern and much roomier than they used to be, However the restraints of the building mean it lives up to its name. There is not much room. The quirky two person lift up the centre of the spiral staircase will not allow two to take a suitcase upstairs! We did not rise early enough ti take benefit from the in hotel breakfast but there are many cafes bars and bistros to provide breakfast and a large supermarket and two artisinal boulangeries in the vicinity to provide one’s needs. The district has many good restaurants and opposite is an exquisite and welcoming Lebanese restaurant the we visited twice during our five day stay: for dinner on our first night and lunch on our last day. The staff are informed Andrew helpful and spoke very good english. The domestic staff make a visible effort to keep the building sanitised. We have now visited three times and have not been disappointed. The location is walking distance from Gare du Nord, Gare de l’est and many many attractions, even for us, in our seventies. Thank you for a welcome break.

This hotel is very small. The elevator only fits 1 person with small luggage. Our room was on the top floor as soon as we opened the door to our room we had to walk up a flight of stairs which is inconvenient if you have suitcases. The bathroom was very small and the ceiling was slanted meaning we hit our heads when in the bath/shower and when standing at the sink. The shower was hand held and there is no shower curtain meaning water went everywhere. The bathroom window is also completely see through meaning anyone in the neighbouring properties can see into the bathroom. The bedroom had a nice balcony type double door which let in lots of fresh air and light. The other window in our room was inconvenient as the curtains don’t shut properly and therefore let too much light in when trying to sleep. There was only one mirror in our room which was the bathroom mirror. There was minimal storage, could only hang around 6 items of clothing. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Only provided two pillows which were both UNBELIEVABLY hard and left us with neck pains. The hotel is close to metro stations and therefore gave us easy access to Disney, Eiffel Tower etc. quite a few food places and shops nearby which is handy. The lady at the front desk was lovely and helpful and kept our bags stored on the day of checkout until our flight.

This is the perfect hotel for a short stay and really well located being so close to a metro so if you really want to spend your time in Paris getting out and about then this is the ideal place to stay to lay your head, the staff were very nice and friendly as well

Check in went well, staff is friendly. Let us leave our luggage after checking out, free of charge. The room was okay but there were a few hairs on the bed and the pillows weren’t great. What actually bothered me was the weird smell, which we eventually figured out was coming from the toilet ?

Goed hotel als je de kamer vooral gebruikt om te slapen. Kleine kamer, wel schoon. Tijdens ons verblijf was het ruim 30 graden, waardoor er een airco op de kamer/in t hotel erg gemist hebben. Een ventilator, gekocht in de stad, heeft uitkomst geboden. Vriendelijk personeel. Simpel ontbijt. Metrostation aan t eind van t straatje, wat erg handig is.

Overall ok. Clean room and toilet. But the lobby was not inviting and cosy. Also, there was no a/c in the room and it was extremely hot this weekend in Paris. The receptionist was assembling fans and gave me one which cooled things down a bit.
