Everyone was very friendly and the food was good, but there wasn’t a large selection for really breakfast lunch or dinner. Our bed was too soft. You could actually see where two impressions of bodies were when the sheets were pulled back. We had beautiful balcony and the beach was right there.

This was a great hotel for a first time trip to Hawaii as a solo traveler. The restaurant and beach chair amenities are great, and it has a private beach feel. I did not miss a pool at all. There is a park on one side and it’s nice to not be enclosed by another hotel. Would visit again!

The staff at this hotel were extremly professional. The wait staff for the bar and restaurant were engaging and accommodating. The room was laid out well and provided all the basics. Daily cleaning was quick but thorough. The adjacent beach was great as was the view of it from our room. The balcony was used and provided comfort. While the age was starting to show it still has all you need to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Excellent location on the quiet end of beautiful Kapiolani Park. Easy street parking overnight. Waikiki amenities are close but not so close as to be noisy at night. Laundry facilities, beach towels and chairs, and free reef-safe sunscreen are a nice plus. Hope to be back soon!

Excellent location on the beach but just far enough from all the big hotels to be quiet and peaceful. Hau Tree restaurant very good food with friendly staff. Plan on renting a car(valet parking) or getting an Uber to go to Oahu attractions as nothing but Aquarium and Zoo are close.

We had 2 rooms with King beds. It was my moms first time in Hawaii and I wanted it to be spectacular. It was! The views towards Waikiki were amazing! We had welcome champagne on ice. There is a restaurant and bar at the hotel which was perfect and convenient. There is a little coffee shop and convenience store right at the property. The beach is right outside the back. There was a seal and pup on the beach which limited access but we could still access some beach and the water. The location is also at the end of Waikiki so its much quieter which is what we preferred. I would 1000% go back and recommend this hotel. We were only adults on this trip. I extended my stay and got a different room with a great view of Diamond Head. If it wasn't cloudy on Friday night we probably could have seen the fireworks from out deck.

Mark was super helpful And friendly at check in. The hotel is dated with some normal beach wear and tear but everything was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I chose this hotel specifically because GPT said it has the best beach snorkeling in Waikiki. I found it just below average. Too many people (myself included) to keep good reef health, I suppose. The hotel had a great vibe and is in a neat location next to several giant parks which makes for great morning walking!

This hotel is amazing. They have everything - iron, coffee maker, towels, water, anything you need. It’s quiet, because it’s not in the center of a noisy Waikīkī. It’s beautiful, it’s comfortable. If only the sink could be inside of the bathroom and not outside it - would be the best. Cleaning everyday was great, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

The King room with Diamondhead view was very small and the view was pretty limited. The hotel needs a serious interior refresh. The staff were pleasant and the room, not withstanding its limited size, was very clean.
