Great if you want to stay in the hotel or have car
We had a beautiful view and infinity pool was amazing. However, it was not walking distance to to many things. So it was good we had a car that portion of our stay. Bonus the resort fee includes parking!. Little disappointed that it said we got welcome bag and toothbrush etc, and we didnt receive it. Also there was no soap in bathroom upon arrival. These are little things, but in the pricey and 5 star hotel, I expected more. The bathroom is a little dated. I like more modern. But I guess we paid for view. However, service was great- were able to accommodate early and late checkout. And upon arrival were greeted with banana bread and 2 free welcome drinks.

Just amazing
We absolutely loved this hotel. Every single staff member we encountered was very pleasant and helpful. The panoramic ocean view room was to die for, well appointed and spacious with a tub in the bathroom. Location between Ala Moana Shopping Center and Waikiki was perfect. Very short walk to the Friday night fireworks at the Hilton. The infinity pool was beautiful but in need of draining. Lots of skin-looking floaties in there kept me out, unfortunately. We stayed next door at the Modern a few months ago and there is no comparison. The Modern is very beat up and although you have a nice view, a lanai, and a very, very spacious room, there is attention lost in the details. They need a thorough overhaul for that price point and I would gladly spend a little more for a room at the Prince that is perfect. This stay was during a very sad time and the Prince Waikiki was a peaceful and comfortable respite for me. My only wish was that there was a balcony but you only get those with suites. I will definitely stay here again.

The Manager is not good. The Front Desk was not being professional yet the Manage was rude. When I checked in, I informed the front desk of my two reservations and she told me that I can stay in the same room. However, my keys did not worked 3 times and we waited for 15 minutes outside just for the security to come to the floor.
