Nice Hotel in a central location, close to a lot of the sights. Staff is very friendly. Nice and tidy, clean rooms. Breakfast is a la cart style and great value for money although the quality could be improved +fresh squeezed OJ, -eggs Benedict should not be hard boiled..

I have stayed at nearly every four and five star hotel in Amsterdam over the past 30 years. During my first stay in Amsterdam, I was backpacking, and I stayed in a youth hostel. A decade later I stayed at many of the nicest hotels in the city. On my last trip I stayed at four different boutique hotels in four nights. I was traveling alone and wanted to experience different hotels. I was blown away by Hotel V Nesplein. It’s my favorite! It’s in the absolute perfect location in the center of everything, walking distance to everything…yet tucked away on a little street where it feels private and safe. The old, historic building is gorgeous. The interior design is impeccable, incorporating industrial elements with beautiful, modern decor, different textures, a stunning chandelier and killer art. The room was immaculately clean, the bed was perfectly comfortable, and the staff could not be friendlier. I give it five stars all day long. This is where I will stay when visiting Amsterdam.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent both breakfast and dinner. Fantastic location just off Dam Square - we walked everywhere! Only complaint very little storage in the room for clothes and basically lived out of the suitcase. Still highly recommended!
