This hotel was great overall. It had a restaurant right beside it which was very convenient after going to Universal or just checking in and not having to figure out what to have for dinner.

Amazingly cozy and family friendly hotel close to Universal that is a much more Budget-friendly option with better amenities than the two closer to Universal. Amazing pool with movies during Friday and Saturday nights, free trolley service and great food at the pool.

This was our first time staying at the Garland and we would absolutely stay again. The property is beautiful and fun, with the pool, hot tubs, restaurant, and store. We used the shuttle to Universal Studios several times and the drivers were so kind and polite. All the staff were great. Truly, we couldn't have asked for a better stay.
