The Westin Pasadena, Pasadena
First Impressions
The check-in process was surprisingly poor. Upon arrival, there were 5-6 valets and valet stand. None greeted us, had to ask for help in parking our car. Front desk reception was equally unprofessional. Two staff providing extended concierge-type service for two young women; second was preoccupied answering questions on the eye contact, no greeting. She then placed another call to what was overheard to be an off premises employee, asking when they would be returning to the property. Very unprofessional!

Great Pet Friendly Hotel
Great location and dog friendly. Loved the close proximity to restuarants. Adjacent grounds are beautiful. We have a very large dog, all of the staff was very friendly. We also utilized valet, which was a good value and very prompt.

Great hotel, Horrible Staff
Great Hotel, terrible service. I requested an accessible room as my wife is temporarily in a wheel chair, and after sending us to the room, I requested a roll away as the young lady at the from told us we could get one, and failed to mention they would not allow us to have one in the room they put us in. They also refused to allow mw to use a luggage cart, rather I had to have a bell man take my luggage, which I do not like. They were unwilling to be nice, or accommodating. I love Westins, and I am a Pasadena Native, and this is simply an embarrassment to my city, and a hotel chain I typically love.
