Our stay at Hotel Mariposa was fantastic. The hotel exceeded my expectations. The entire staff, from the front desk personnel to housekeeping, were very welcoming and friendly. The entire hotel was spotless! The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location was perfect our trip. We definitely will be staying there on our next visit.

I would say 3.5 stars really. Mostly because the rooms are decent and the ac is nice and cold and it's pretty quiet. However, the parking is not great. Finding parking at check-in was a nightmare. The do have an underground garage you pay nightly for. Breakfast is pretty non-existent. Some pastries for purchase and bad coffee. Disappointing.

It's hard to find a well-appointed hotel in LA at a lower price point. This hotel fits the bill. It's clean, big rooms, new, easy access, etc. Parking is a bit steep at $27/night and they charge for a very limited breakfast, but it reminds me of a mid-range Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn. As is VERY typical in LA, the hallways reek of Cannabis smoke. The hotel seemed responsive to trying to remedy that.

Great location, clean and bright, great place to stay! Breakfast well priced and easy to grab. Free coffee and got water and regular water at all times. Parking is about $25 a night underground, you can park in the area overnight on the street just be careful about the signs. Street infront of the hotel is only 1 hour 8am - 6pm, across the street it’s 2 hours during those times :)
