I LOVED our stay here. Our stay was the best part of visiting Leavenworth. The hotel is such a cozy, warm, and inviting place. Each morning, guests came down for breakfast and coffee in their pajamas. We sat by the fire, played chess, and watched the snow for hours before going into town. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The surrounding area looks rural which makes for a beautiful view and a nice morning run/walk. Realistically, it’s about 5 min from town. I’d love to come back in the summer!

Arrived late to a crackling fire in the main room and our key in an envelope with my name on it. Room was super cozy, clean, and the bed was comfortable. It dumped snow the entire time we were there so we spent a lot of time in the room but tucked up into the mountains the views were beautiful. Breakfast in the mornings was always delicious. My wife looked forward to the late night snack that came out between 8:30-9:00. Staff was friendly and responsive to text. I’ve read other reviews about confusion with check in and allegedly “heating” their room with the wood fireplace. We lit the fireplace because it was cozy but the room was plenty warm without it. Check in was a breeze, just read the sheet and make sure to communicate with the hostess. It’s a B&B not a Hilton. So grab a shovel and scoop a path to your vehicle if need be. This never bothered me in the least. Staff even lent me a wrench to fix the windshield wipers on the rental car when they decided to fail from the heavy snow. Beautiful place, beautiful location, nice people. What more can you ask for?

Amazing visit with a special surprise!

Amazing visit. The rooms were charming. Stayed in the Almrosen suite and had a wood-burning fire for an extra romantic stay. Resort Manager, Haylee, made a special 2 person birthday cake when she learned we were celebrating. What a delicious surprise! Loved the experience!

Beautiful and peaceful winter setting close enough to downtown sights and restaurants of Leavenworth and far enough for quiet and relaxation. We splurged for a short getaway to celebrate a birthday and appreciated the hospitality, delicious and well-prepared breakfast, lovely attention to the decor and amenities of the pensione. Felt like we were traveling in a different country, which is the break we needed. The wood fireplace in Almarosen room was romantic and warming, the bed very comfortable, and a lovely place to return to after a day outdoors on snowshoes or skis.
