Spent one night at the Finch. The bed was very comfortable. The room is very minimalist but everything a person could need was provided with the exception of a coffee maker.

Convenient location in Walla Walla
The Finch is a great place to stay in Walla Walla if you want to be close the the central area where many great restaurants and tasting rooms are. This is a "boutique" hotel so a little funky in room decor. Yet having said that, the bed was great and the room was clean. We could have used an actual sitting chair and another wall hook or two. The staff is very good - friendly and responsive. I would not stay in one of the rooms near the charming fireplace area again, though. It's noisy. BUT, when we asked the night staff about the ongoing noise past the 10pm curfew, they were super responsive in getting folks to quiet down. The coffee was quite good and the common seating areas along with the mentioned fireplace area are really comfortable. And again, you're a short walk from a LOT of neat things to do in town.

Passing Through
Driving feom California to Washington to move and traveling with my dog and a carful of items, I was unsure of the area i was going to be staying in. But I was pleasantly surprised with the Finch! Super cozy bed! Excellent shower, the whole place is nicely remodeled. Coffee in the lobby in the morning, wine pours on Wednesdays in the lobby, lots of group games to play on the property and walking distance to all the restaurants in downtown. I felt safe walking around at night and would definitely stay here again. Stayed with my pup and had a great experience!

Great hidden gem
This place is a great hidden gem. Front desk gives you a complimentary wine tasting at check-in. Rooms are neat and clean. Great for couples, maybe not the most comfortable for couples with kids.
