Simple but really agreeable, quiet and cozy. Only downside was the limitation on early check in, i.e. the room was already clean and ready (as I learned when I called to inquire) but because there is no reception desk but only self check in then I was unable to access the room until 1430. Otherwise it was clean, I loved that they had a proper hairdryer as well a free water, coffee and a cooking and eating area.

This was a fully automated check in with a machine booth on the property frontage you checked into with photo ID ( we used passports) to obtain door codes. Worked well. Little niggle - We elected to spend more and have a canal view room. Should have been wonderful but the canal was being extensively renovated over several years and was a building site! Will be wonderful when completed.

Historic charm

Great location in a quirky boutique historic building adjacent to the Georgetown canal. Small comfortable room is all you need to explore the heart of the historic commercial district. You will be amongst a lot of urban activity and sidewalk chatter but area is quiet overnight. Steps away from great food, shopping and sightseeing. Not for those who prefer generic chain hotels.

The property was great. Very clean and well maintained. It was a great location. The only reason I wouldn't give it an A is that it is located near a w popular restaurant and it was quite noisy until 11 nut then it got very quiet. I would recommend this property without question unless this is a desl breaker for you.
