Beautiful little boutique hotel. I havent had such fluffy hotel towels in a long time! Location couldn't be better for sightseeing and transportation. We arrived on the train and the hotel is right across the street. Taxis and buses readily available. Lots of great shopping in the area. Plenty of choices for dinner. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Full English breakfast was included and very good. I would recommend this hotel for any occasion.

I arrived exhausted and they were super helpful, explained everything I needed to know and even made me a pot of coffee to take to my room even though the kitchen was closed. Secure parking so I didn't have to worry about my car that was packed ready for the ferry to France early the next morning. And they also served me breakfast earlier than usual so that I could get to the ferry terminal (which is only 5 minutes drive away) on time for the early ferry. All round really kind and helpful, I'll definitely stay again when I'm in Portsmouth.

This little hotel was an unexpected gem. It overlooks the harbor and is situated close to a travel terminal, boat, train, bus, cab. A step further away was a new outlet mall with lots restaurants. It is also very close to the entrance to the Royal naval dockyards. We had a clear view of HMS Warrior from our window. The room was large, with a slightly quirky decor. The new en suite bathroom was well thought out. A large part of the hotels charm had to be the ground floor dining room always set for a large breakfast. Behind the bar/Reception desk there was always a very obliging member of staff to greet you and to help you. Shout out to Jeremy and Dave.
