Stayed at Haven Hall for a long weekend, the hotel and grounds are exceptional, with views overlooking the sea. Our room was beautifully decorated and furnished and the extra large king sized bed very comfortable. The continental breakfast was extensive, served in a lovely dining room looking onto the gardens. The owners and staff are welcoming and friendly - overall great hotel in a relaxed atmosphere, would highly recommend.

Had the absolute pleasure of staying at Haven Hall Hotel in July 2025. David and Arielle, who own the property are the heart and soul of the place. Their hospitality is second to none
The hotel itself is simply stunning – a serene escape that truly lifts you away from the everyday world. Nestled in a peaceful setting, it boasts immaculate grounds, a heated pool, tennis court, sauna, and rolling green lawns perfect for enjoying a quiet cup of tea while taking in the breathtaking sea views. One of the unexpected highlights? The hotel’s own adorable dog, Maisie.
The housekeeping team deserves a special mention – everything was spotless, and the thoughtful touches, like the evening turndown chocolates were well appreciated.

We stayed in Haven Hall and had such a great experience there! The owner David came to greet us and showed us around his property which they renovated for 4 years prior to opening as a boutique hotel. The hotel has beautiful decor inside and a spectacular waterfront. We were asked in the evening what we wish for a breakfast on the next day and they made it exactly the way we requested. We wish we spend more days on the island and definitely would recommend this hotel for everyone who is visiting the island! Oxana and Milana ( visiting from Florida).

you have to see this place: location is second to none: this boutique hotel is located on a cliff with breathtaking views in each direction. Perfect place to chill and recharge. In the morning there is an excellent English breakfast that is served in a meticulously decorated dining room or al fresco in french style patio. Rooms are clean, have great views and comfortable beds. Hotel is run by the live-in owner, David who is very welcoming and engage in wonderful conversations. You can enjoy the company of on-premises labradoodle too :) Shanklin is beautiful little village east of Isle of Writht, have vast lengths of pebble beaches and beautiful walks around. Fun fact: it have most sunny days in whole UK! Highly recommended!

Perfect Spot on The Isle of Wight!
We found Haven Hall to be ideal on a recent visit to the Isle of Wight. The grounds are immaculate with stunning vistas overlooking the water; which is a very short walk away. Our room was very well appointed and comfortable. The owners, David and Arielle truly enjoy engaging with guests, making it feel as though you were staying in their private home; which it is! The breakfast on the patio each morning was a perfect start to each day (too bad they don't offer dinner service as well...). Our only regret was we couldn't stay longer!

An oasis of luxury in Shanklin
A unique experience. We had a self-catering apartment with a small garden which was extremely well-equipped and was very comfortable and private. Breakfast was delicious served outside on the terrace although sadly the weather wasn't good enough to take advantage of the outdoor pool. The property is located beside the coastal path and well-positioned for walking although we didn't find any commendable restaurants within walking distance which would be the only criticism as the hotel doesn't have a restaurant.

Absolutely wondrous location and fabulous B&B!
Ohhh my. Sumptuous! Gorgeously decorated... smiling friendly host and hostess..... David and Arielle. Food.. superb
Catering to me as American.. my partner....British... both continents represented at breakfast along with delicious homemade lemon curd and rhubarb ham ( huge fan!)
With that said....
Exhaust fan in bath needed cleaning. Dodged pigeon feathers in pool due to filter not running. Photos of “famous” people who have stayed there pointed out ......unnecessary. We loved it there without knowing. Did not feel we needed an endorsement in order to stay there. It stood out on it’s own.
A tremendous effort has been put into this accommodation.. clearly. We thoroughly enjoyed leafing through the photo album depicting the love, sweat and tears of the renovation so lovingly completed. Amazing....not stone left unturned!
Would we return...YES! Recommend? Absolutely

If you ever decide to visit the Isle of Wight, then be sure to stay at the Haven Hall Hotel in Shanklin for at least one night. This wonderful guest house style hotel is beautifully located where you can enjoy one of the best views of the sea. A well-groomed landscape garden with an abundance of flowers pleases the eye - a wonderful example of traditional English style.
At the end of the alley, running through the entire garden is an elegant arbour where you can take amazing photos! The hotel has a swimming pool and tennis court.
Near the hotel, there is the beautiful Shanklin beach and a walking area with several restaurants serving delightful seafood.
Haven Hall's interior is distinguished by a special old-fashioned charm and elegance. All guest rooms have their own unique decor, all the details of which have been matched with taste and care. The rooms have everything you need: fridge, coffee maker, kettle, iron.
The owners are a charming couple who are very attentive and hospitable. They take care to provide guests with maximum comfort, try to take into account all wishes and provided us with interesting and useful information about the island.
Breakfast is served in a beautiful room overlooking the sea. Be sure to try the pancakes prepared by the hostess of Haven Hall!
We left with very warm feelings as if spending these unforgettable 3 days with friends. Will definitely come back here!
