Booked a sea-view room.. got “upgraded” to a family room with no sea-view. So clearly it was overbooked.. we got moved to the apartments which were really nice, some noticeable wear-and-tear but really nice and private. Spa and breakfast were awesome.. all of the staff were incredibly nice. Reception was awesome, even with the mix-up while we were checking in, they were very helpful and quick to find a solution. Massive kudos to all of the staff at this hotel, ya’ll rock!!

A beautiful property in an excellent location with a truly outstanding staff. Unfortunately, there was no manager or director on site during my stay, and the staff were doing their best to manage the property on their own. While they were professional, courteous, and hardworking, the absence of leadership was noticeable. It is a real pity, because with proper management, this property has the potential to be an absolute jewel.

Wonderful staff! Spotless clean. We had a 2-bedroom suite and it was just lovely. It’s a short walk from the main strip, private parking was about 2-3minute walk away. It was our first time in Spain, and we had stayed at 5 star hotels in Madrid and Barcelona and Tossa de mar, but something about Cosmopolita that made me love it more than all the hotels we stayed at. It felt like home away from home.

Everything was good and we had no issues. The staff was amazing. Very helpful and attentive. Location was fantastic. My only comment I have is about the shower in the bathroom. Very nice bathroom with everything you need except as in the European way there is no shower on the wall just a handheld shower head by the beautiful tub. Even a half enclosure. But for North Americans a bit of a challenge. You have to sit in the tub to used the shower head. Otherwise great.

Each morning started with the most deluxe breakfast spread with delicious and fresh salmon, eggs, bacon and sausage, grilled vegetables. An assortment of breads, croissants of different kinds then your variety of cheeses and cold cuts… absolutely fabulous. From there, each room was cleaned every morning and replenished with a complimentary bottle of champagne. The staff was so kind and helpful throughout our stay and helped us with any daily tour guide assistance. The free use of the daily spa was over the top, an amenity that set the bar for any hotel we find in the future. The rooftop pool and fitness room with the views out to the Mediterranean ocean was just paradise. This hotel easily is on the top of our list and the price was amazingly reasonable. Our room had an ocean view and we were so blown away. If you are looking for a place at Platja D’Aro I would recommend this hotel a thousand times. It was truly fantastic. After a week in Barcelona and walking around all day in the City, a retreat to Costa Brava and the Cosmopolita just put the finest bow around an incredible experience in Spain!!!

Room was great clean and spacious with fridge Bottle of complimentary Cava was a lovely touch. Breakfast was perfect - great choice and could dine indoors or outdoors Staff though we great - so friendly and super english. The spa was nice too only the shower and changing rooms there were lacking in space and ventilation
