Very noisy hotel
The beds were very comfortable however if you’re sensitive to noise there were people outside playing and screaming until 4 o’clock in the morning and then the noise started up again at around 8 AM in the morning. Someone knocked at my door at 11:30 and told me to get out on the day of checkout

It was a great hotel to be in and our stay was great except for the welcome we got that was a bit harsh and unwelcoming but from this point forward it was great and the hotel's personnel was a great aid.

Barcelo Raval was a fun hotel. The rooftop bar was great! Full 360 views of the city. I booked this hotel despite other reviews on the area it is located. I can tell you that I was concerned about the bad reviews of the area that the hotel is in. But I took a chance anyway. The area is definitely a cool little spot. If you are a foodie and love all kinds of food this is a great spot with cool little restaurants. I think some people reported this area as seedy. Well I did not get that impression at all the people were very nice and I didn’t feel at all unsafe at anytime. There was a police presence at all times. And we walked around late at night. If you are an art lover there is a huge statue of El gato de Botero, you can actually touch and climb. I will also comment on the comfort of the beds!!! Wow. Most hotel beds I have back and neck pain in the morning but not this one. Super comfortable! Overall the hotel is a plus in my books.

Barcelo Raval was a warm welcome to Barcelona!
Service and cleanliness and comfort was excellent. Food was also great - had breakfast and a dinner there. Loved the look of the lobby and that rooftop bar! Rooms were on the smaller side and annoying that we couldn’t open the curtains but bed was super comfortable. Location wasn’t too bad, could of been better if it was more centralized but close enough to Las Ramblas and about 15 minutes walk from city center. Still safe area and overall great stay. Would consider staying here again.
