Loved our stay at this property. The location was excellent and very well placed for cafés, restaurants, local street art and entertainment. It is about a ten minute walk to the nearest tube station, if you have lots of luggage, but wasn’t a major issue for us. The rooms were large, which is a major bonus in London. We received a free upgrade, which was amazing and much needed at the end of a 4-week holiday. Staff were lovely and so helpful. Spoke to Michael who was one of the hotel managers and had a really nice chat, he also showed us the police cells in the bar and told us a bit of the history of the hotel, which was previously a working courthouse and police station, which added to the charm of staying there. Loved the rooftop bar, but unfortunately a lot of functions were booked for the weekend we stayed, so could only get limited access. The pool and spa looked great but we didn’t have time to use them, as it’s London, right? Too much to do. Spitalfields market was only a 15 minute walk away, a great place for food, alternative shopping and people-watching. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was perfect for us for our weekend in London, with loads of lovely restaurants and breakfast cafes nearby, and excellent transport links to central. We didn't have time to make the most of the hotel's facilities, but hope we can come back to do so in the future as the breakfast and pool/ sauna looked amazing.
