We recently stayed in the Bull hotel and opted for a delux room. WE are so glad we did as the room was wonderful. very impressed, The stairs to the upper floors may be a challenge for the less mobile but I was told there a few rooms on the ground floor, one of which is deluxe. The hotel is convenient for the main shopping area and has a vety useful parking area to the rear of the hotel. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. A good breakfast and evening meal. The outside seating looked good too. A great place to stay in a lovely town.

Really nice hotel in great location. Expect to be woken up early with staff and deliveries. Bathroom could do with a bit more of a thorough clean. We didn't have any remotes for the TV in our room we asked for one but it still didn't work. We had a couple of flies bussing round but we sorted that out.

Lovely place & location, clean & well maintained, we had a great room (Deluxe double room), lovely decor. Dedicated free parking at the rear, staff mainly very helpful, lovely outdoor courtyard area. Just let down by a few things - housekeeping did not replenish the room coffee pods or milk, nor the loo roll (we had to go hunting for these), and although the food was mostly OK (though avocado well past its best!), we had an unacceptably long wait for our cooked breakfast (25 mins after ordering on the first morning) even though it wasn't that busy. Pity, just takes the edge off things.

Always enjoy a stay at the bull and would recommend it - staff are very attentive and helpful. Only downside was no kettle in the room and was advised to use the hot water that is generated from the capsule coffee maker - a slightly odd one as the water would naturally taste of coffee!!!

We LOVED this hotel. Easy parking on a weekend, lovely courtyard room big enough for myself and 3 friends walking the SW coast path. Nice easy check in procedure and SUCH a delicious breakfast. It felt very premium, but for a good value price. It was perfect for us, this was a one night stop en route on the coast path for us, but we wish we’d travelled back to stay here again the second night. Buses very easy right outside the hotel to get along to different destinations on the SW coast path too. High recommend.
