We stayed in a beautiful room at the front of the building, there’s a bit of street noise during the day but barely noticeable at night. We arrived before check-in but our room was ready and we were greeted by the friendly staff with a complimentary welcome drink. They showed us to our room and explained the property, access, and necessities. We had complimentary waters in the fridge everyday including coffee and tea selections, loved the towel warmer in the bathroom, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend if you want to be close to several major attractions while also enjoying the neighborhood feel.

One of the best places o have stayed in London in a long time. Staff were very welcoming on arrival. Room was fantastic, good aircon, clean, stylish everything you want and more. I have a disability and I did not realise there was no lift (my mistake as it is stated quite clearly). Our room was on the top floor. Negotiating the stairs was difficult for me but the staff carried my bag to the room for me, they tried to find me a room on a lower floor and they were genuinely helpful and concerned. Apart from the stairs, the venue was perfect and our evening meal was great. Lovely place to stay.

We were a party with three rooms over several days during the heatwave. We cannot thank the C&W staff enough; they were friendly, accommodating and listened. One of our rooms had issues with the air conditioning which could not be fixed during our stay, but they pre-emptively arranged an alternate room in a sister venue. Thoughtful and friendly team and the rooms (bar the ac issue) were comfortable and larger than many in this part of London.

One of the best hotel stays ever in London. The room was air conditioned (I was worried because it was a pub it wouldn’t be). The pub closed at 11pm so there were no disturbances and room and bathroom was very spaces and beautifully decorated. The only reason for cleanliness I left a 4/5 is because there was someone else’s old knickers hanging on the the back of the door. I also gave 4/5 for the amenities because the body wash and body lotion had run out. Otherwise great place and we even got complimentary drinks! Thank you
