We had a wonderful stay at the Clerk and Well We arrived at bit early and our room wasn't ready. So we had a drink in the bar and were then shown to our beautiful room. We were a party with three rooms over several days during the heatwave. We cannot thank the C&W staff enough; they were friendly, accommodating and listened. One of our rooms had issues with the air conditioning which could not be fixed during our stay, but they pre-emptively arranged an alternate room in a sister venue. Thoughtful and friendly team and the rooms (bar the ac issue) were comfortable and larger than many in this part of London.

One of the best hotel stays ever in London. The room was air conditioned (I was worried because it was a pub it wouldn’t be). The pub closed at 11pm so there were no disturbances and room and bathroom was very spaces and beautifully decorated. The only reason for cleanliness I left a 4/5 is because there was someone else’s old knickers hanging on the the back of the door. I also gave 4/5 for the amenities because the body wash and body lotion had run out. Otherwise great place and we even got complimentary drinks! Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pub and Rooms. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We also appreciated the complimentary first drink at the pub. We had originally planned to go to a nearby restaurant, but in the end we decided to have dinner at the pub instead. The dining experience was very memorable as well. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Excellent stay. Could not fault this. Staff were excellent particularly when we left our keys in the room one night l. The room we had , no 4, was lovely.
