We love our stay in this hotel! Staffs were so helpful for non-chinese speaker like us. Cliff from Front Office delivered exceptional service! He was patient, kind and helpful!

Nice hotel, fantastic staff
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Clean, well maintained and everything one would wish for in a hotel!! Only drawback is that it is quite far (40 minutes) from the city centre. I would definitely come back if I was coming to this area.

Good place to stay while attending a concert at the near by Guangzhou Sports Arena. Free shuttle bus to venue and 15 minute walk back. Staff nice and friendly and free cookies! Would stay again.

We stayed at this hotel in October I don't normally write reviews but I have to admit this hotel was amazing from the staff to the food and the rooms. Would definitely recommend this hotel away from the hustle and bustle but still not to far to venture out

It's good but far from city center. If you don't have a car, you need to walk half miles to the subway/metro. All others are really good, just expensive

Fantastic (except for steak)
Impressive hotel. Fantastic room you never want to leave. Everything was five stars except for (1) location - in our case the taxi was an hour ride from Guangzhou South Station and 45 minutes from Chimelong Park, and (2) the steak dinner. We paid 268 and 258 RMB, close to $50 each, which would have been completely fine. However, the steaks were of less quality than Denny's. Thin, flat top grilled low grade stuff. It hurt to pay that much, but we'd had such a long and exhausting day, we didn't have the energy to make it a deal.

Be careful there are two Double Tree Hiltons
There are two Double Tree Hilton Hotels in Guangzhou, we mistakenly booked the wrong one. The one we wanted as I believe most travellers will is the centrally located hotel. The one we booked unfortunately was located in science park and although the rooms were very nice, the location is totally not suited to travellers. The Double tree both have Hilton as there brand name, when we arrived and realised that we had the wrong double tree, we were told by the front desk, that they were not the same company and that even if we checked out we have to pay as we booked on expedia. We checked out an hour later and was told by the manager that many people make this mistake. We this lost our payment, and had to book and pay for another Hotel. The reason is it takes almost one to two hours in traffic to get anywhere near the city and tourist locations.

Lovely hotel , excellent facilities-a little far
We were attending the Cantonese fair and wanted a hotel a little away from the noise and business of Guangzhou.Hotel was excellent and new with interesting finishes, very comfortable room and fantastic bathroom finishes( Toto toilet/ sanitary ware but no modern electronic bidets) esp for a double tree hotel range. The lake view is refreshing but a little spoilt by blocks of high rise coming up blocking part of the distant mountain views.
Staff at front desk,restaurant, housekeeping were all friendly and helpful. But their level of English is much to b desired for an American chain, simple questions can't be answered tho they tried hard..they had Segways for hire ( excellent idea) but only 1 out of 2 available for hire. Had issues getting them repaired
Closest shops at Wanda plaza was a hot 20 mins walk.
Shuttle bus was provided to the fair made life easier but our excursions and after dinner taxi trips from the middle of city( tian he area) was a little daunting. The lack of spoken Mandarin / Cantonese can make it difficult to get around, order at restaurants. Also rudeness of taxi drivers who snipe at customers with comments ( in Chinese) thinking I didn't understand about how far it was from the get 'city' and other unsavory comments. Traffic jams when closer to city. Took 35 to 55 min (70 to 85 yuan)to get to Tian he( district) where many great local cantonese cuisine are located.
A lovely place to chill out- trips into town can be a little taxing!

O melhor de tudo foi o atendimento da equipe. Quando cheguei tive um problema com o táxi do aeroporto, um funcionário da recepção tomou a iniciativa de me ajudar e resolveu tudo prontamente.
Pessoal super atento e comprometido com a satisfação do cliente em todos os momentos durante minha estadia. Muitos funcionários falam inglês. No horário de saída do transporte para a Canton Fair sempre um funcionário passava no café da manhã com um sino, avisando a todos que o ônibus iria sair.
Transporte excelente e pontual. Sempre com garrafas de água disponíveis. No retorno sempre tinha um lanchinho no ônibus.
Quartos grandes, confortáveis. Banheiro e produtos de higiene excelentes, até escova de dente descartável tinha disponível.
Superou minhas expectativas.
Parabéns à equipe e à gestão do hotel.
