Ice cold bottled water upon request - nice but smallish pool - burning man rave on the video board Sat/Sun. Kids ok on weekdays. Very attentive staff - drinks and food available at poolside. Not for the thrifty or financially strapped traveler - but you gotta live a little. Great location in the heart of Williamsburg.

Chose the Coda for a 2 day staycation with my sister - primarily to lounge at the pool and its proximity to great nightlife in Williamsburg. The hotel itself was well maintained. The check-in staff and pool staff were very helpful. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the entire pool set-up - which caters more to the ResortPass guests - doesn’t feel special for the hotel guests. You have to reserve a spot at the pool for both the day and then switch over to an afternoon reservation/spot. It was a bit annoying if all you want to do is just chill. Other than that, cool.

Location location location, I am not a local , I visit new yor k all th time I live in Connecticut. A nice staycation place , close to all nice restaurants, shops and night life too. Local foods a, spirits and vintage stores near by. Great boutique hotel

Mixed feelings….. Great location with easy to find on street parking nearby. Beautiful outdoor sitting area by the pool. Wonderful restaurant in the lower level. All staff in the hotel were awesome! Loved the cans of water provided in the room daily. However, the bedside tables and wood furnishings in our room were old and worn, and the hot water was never hot…. It was lukewarm at best. The 24hour tea available in the lobby was not available Sunday morning at 7:30am so I returned at 8:15, but the hot water in the electric percolator was still only room temperature. A full set of towels with washcloths and hand towels were not provided one day, but upon request at the front desk, they arrived promptly. While there was a cabinet for a refrigerator, and space in the armoire for an ironing board, there was no fridge or ironing board provided… these were only available upon request. We did not think the condition of the room and lack of hot water warranted the cost, and were dismayed at the multiple fees (resort fee and undisclosed fee) that were added to our bill.
