We have stayed here before and it is ideally located for family visits. The staff were excellent and the room was above expectations. Anyone staying here will not be disappointed. One word of warning - if you want to eat dinner here make sure to book well ahead as it gets very busy (not surprisingly)

Gorgeous rooms, very helpful staff and very accommodating when we were a little late coming in for breakfast. This is our second stay here and my only regret is not spending more time in the pub/hotel to enjoy the atmosphere.

Lovely comfortable room and a nice bar / restaurant area.
Food was very nice but quite expensive as were the drinks.
Doesnt help that they add 12.5% service charge to every bill. That's an Americanism that's sadly snuck into this country.
Service is part of the job and should be covered by staff wages paid by the pub.
Tips should be optional and not automatically added.

Really lovely pub and accommodation set in a beautiful area. I would definitely stay there again. Room had tv, DAB radio, cordless phone charger, modern fan. Bathroom great size.
