My husband and I are both teachers and we were in need of some rest and relaxation after a hectic few weeks. This was our first stay at Elliot House and we had a great time! Check in instructions and parking info was sent early on and were very easy to follow. We had no issues finding the parking area, or getting into our room. The room itself was spacious, and clean. Once we settled in, we headed to the common area where there were breakfast items and a coffee/tea station. We grabbed hot water to make hot toddies, and some cookies. The bed was super soft and comfortable, the jetted tub was amazing, the fireplace made our room cozy, and the tv provided a bunch of options for our mini staycation. 24/7 breakfast access meant a Frosted Flakes midnight snack. Morning coffee on the patio was exactly what I pictured when I booked our stay. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. It was exactly what we hoped for!

We met Ryan, property manager, and he was very helpful. Their automated room access system is excellent. Kitchen was restocked every day. Always had what I wanted for breakfast. Location was very convenient to local restaurants. Very nice stay. Thanks!

My partner and I absolutely loved staying here and we will definitely return the next time we plan a trip out here. The room was clean and cozy. The place was relatively easy to find, parking was easy and convenient. Breakfast in the morning was a nice bonus, they even had a nice coffee bar with oat milk cream which I thought was so thoughtful! We honestly had no complaints.

What a beautiful cozy comfortable room! The breakfast was wonderful too! The bed was amazing, and the Sugar Pine room was perfect- beautiful wood paneling and decor. It was a dream room. The lodge is historical and wonderfully maintained! Close to skiing at China peak! Great stay❤️

No staff. Very private. Our room had all amenities and the breakfast room was well stocked. We were really happy with the accommodations. One caveat was the walls were thin. Fortunately the people above us were quiet. What a beautiful place, we would definitely stay again!

The Sequoia Suite was very nice. The room was nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size with stand up shower and tub. The pillows were a little uncomfortable. One was thicker than the other and very dense. More pillow options would be helpful. We never saw a staff member or talked to anyone. There wasn't a place to check-in when we arrived. I was texted a code for getting into our room. Also, they advertise that breakfast is included with the room, but it was little more than a few muffins or toast and coffee/tea. The food options were pretty sparse! We ended up going out to breakfast every day since we were hiking each day we were there.

Elliott house has a wonderfully quaint but still updated and very usable feel. Room is quiet despite being near the main road and the layout is intentional to give as much usable space while still looking well designed. Would stay again. Only issue was not having a jetted tub haha.
